Flexible, accepting, genuine and empathetic, Allison makes every person she meets and interacts with feel valued and heard. She is passionate about helping others discover who they truly are and make sense of why they feel the way they do so they can make positive changes in their lives.

Allison helps her clients move away from the idea of a fixed future and shift into a creative space where they make choices that align with what they want to experience. She is uniquely gifted in pulling out the truth in her clients so they feel heard, seen and supported. Seeing confrontation as an obstacle to fully expressing needs and desires, Allison focuses on finding common ground so her clients discover new ways of experiencing harmony within themselves and within their relationships.

Her flexible nature and positive energy inspire her clients to give themselves permission to explore, discover and make meaningful and lasting changes. Using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for self-acceptance and psychological flexibility, Motivational Interviewing to find internal motivation, and Seeking Safety by Lisa Najavits for PTSD and substance abuse, Allison adjusts her therapeutic strategies to meet her clients’ needs.

Allison enjoys working with adults who are looking to find their way in life again and are seeking a safe place to heal and grow. She has extensive experience in helping people cope with life transitions, divorce and separation, grief and loss, mood disorders, self-esteem and body image issues, social skills, anger management, stress management, substance abuse and trauma. Her services include Individual Adult Therapy, and Marriage and Couples Counseling.
