Couples Counseling

It is never too late to have a better relationship.

At Relationship Resolutions, we believe that everyone has the ability and desire to form and maintain healthy relationships. However, all too often, the demands of work, family, and household responsibilities take precedence over the most important relationships. Consequently, relationships begin to deteriorate. Before long, things have gotten so bad that you aren’t sure where to go or what to do. So you try to make some changes, but even your best efforts don’t seem to be helping.

With a renewed commitment to each other and the process of therapy, anyone can overcome the hurt and anger which may have developed because of the lack of attention given to the relationship. Scheduling that first appointment is a big step toward change. We look forward to being a part of your transformation.

Premarital Counseling

One of our favorite clientele to work with at RR are couples that are actively seeking assistance to set their marriage up for success. We wholeheartedly support the proactive nature of premarital counseling and applaud the folks who value the investment. We’re happy to celebrate the energy and excitement of engagement AND we want you to be realistic about the inherent challenges of a lifelong partnership. We promise you, spending the time and money now will payoff tenfold over the years and can even be life-changing.

Here’s the deal…marriage is HARD. Like anything, the more you prepare, the easier it’ll be. Whether you’ve been together for years or realized pretty quickly you were meant to spend your lives together, you won’t regret taking the time learn more about yourself and each other.

Some of the more common topics discussed during premarital counseling:

Finances

Communication

Intimacy & sex

Children & parenting

Affection

Family relationships

Decision making

Quality time together

Sex Therapy

Sex Therapy treats areas of sexual dysfunction including premature/delayed ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, Vulvodynia/Vaginismus, lack of desire or arousal, and painful sex.  Sex therapy also treats people with gender or sexual orientation concerns, aging/physical health changes and sexual compulsions. Can be couples therapy or individual therapy and uses a sex positive approach treating populations such as LGBTQIA, Polyamory, Kink, medically compromised, survivors of sexual abuse and rape.
