Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F). She holds a Master of Social Work from Barry University and a Master of Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a graduate of the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma (HPRT) Global Mental Health Certificate program.
Elizabeth is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and (TIR) Traumatic Incident Reduction; certified in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy); and is a national provider for CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy).
Elizabeth believes in the power of walking alongside her clients throughout their healing journey. She is passionate about utilizing mind-body approaches in work with her clients, particularly mindfulness, expressive arts, trauma-sensitive yoga, and integrating nature into her work. Elizabeth utilizes a strengths-based framework in working together with her clients to identify the change they wish to see and to meet their goals in therapy.
