Kayli Meyer
I am a licensed social worker currently working towards obtaining my independent licensure. I have been working in direct practice social work for three years and have experience working with a variety of populations including families, children, adolescents, young adults and adults.

I believe it takes a great deal of bravery to seek help and face the things in life that feel overwhelming. As a social worker, I seek to understand each individual I work with by placing an emphasis on their interaction with their environment. I aim to convey authenticity and acceptance, believing the most important component of therapy is to create a positive working alliance. My hope as your therapist would be to walk alongside you as you restore, maintain and enhance your functioning (psychodynamic approach). Further, assisting you in seeking to understand the reason behind behavior and exploring how the past may be playing a role in your current situations and relationships. Whether you find yourself dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, stress, past trauma or difficult life adjustments, I am honored to walk that journey with you. My hope as a therapist is to help you regain control, develop coping strategies and improve your emotional well-being.

In addition to utilizing a psychodynamic approach, I emphasize a strength-based, person-centered and trauma-informed lens to treatment. I incorporate various other models into my practice including CBT and DBT techniques as well as mindfulness and somatic work. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive and compassionate space for every client to heal and I strive to meet each client’s individual needs. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you!
